Karen Dickinson MHA, BSN, RN

Vice President of Quality and Clinical Resource Management, Fisher-Titus Medical Center

My name is Karen Dickinson MHA, BSN, RN.  I have been in healthcare for over 20 years in varying leadership roles.  I have been employed with Fisher Titus for the last 10 years having served as Director of Nursing at Norwalk Memorial Home and TCU, as well as my current role,  Vice President of Quality & Clinical Resource Management.

In my role as Vice President of Quality & Clinical Resource Management, it is my honor and obligation to positively impact the quality, safety and care experience that is provided to our patients, their families, and our community throughout our organization.  In this role, I oversee management of Quality and Clinical Resources, Patient Safety and Accreditation, Patient Experience, and most recently I have been awarded a new role as ACO champion in managing our Population Health program.  I believe this recent responsibility as the ACO champion brings me back to the root of my career, which is prevention and management of chronic care conditions. I am passionate about serving others and am dedicated to helping them on their quest to living their best life and having a better quality of life, all while decreasing over utilization of ED visits and readmissions.

My husband, Jon, and I live in Plymouth, Ohio with our 2 dogs.  It’s a small village that helps support Huron and Richland County.  I am proud to live in our rural community that helps support the needs of our patients and community. I enjoy spending time with our daughter and grandkids who only live 7 minutes away. I also enjoy camping around the country, gardening, and taking care of our dogs.
