Laolu Fayanju, MD, MSc is the Chief Medical Officer of RubiconMD, the leading provider of eConsults and virtual specialty care. He is also a practicing primary care physician with Oak Street Health. He is board-certified in Family Medicine, a fellow with the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), and previously served as a Regional Medical Director for Oak Street Health, where he led the expansion of the value-based primary care network to that market in 2018. Dr. Fayanju served on the White House Health Equity Roundtable and regularly lectures at Harvard Business School, Harvard Medical School, and Case Western University. He holds a Bachelors's and Masters degree from Harvard University and his medical degree is from Tufts University. He completed his residency in Family Medicine residency at the Cook County Health and Hospital System where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Fayanju is married with two children. Outside of work, Dr. Fayanju enjoys sports, spending time outdoors with his family; and is also an avid film and music lover.
