Joel Haugen is the Senior Vice President of Value Care Solutions Product for Signify Health. In this role, Joel oversees the Provider Enablement capabilities for Signify Health specializing in helping providers successfully manage populations in risk-based contracts. This includes optimizing the existing MSSP business and exploring new risk-based business and services.
As Chief Product Officer at Crossover, Mr. Joel Haugen was responsible for the strategy, design and execution of Crossover’s care model. This was inclusive of member engagement, care delivery, payment and outcomes. Haugen, was focused on scaling Crossover’s existing capabilities and driving new investments that unlock additional capabilities to support Crossover members.
Prior to Crossover, Haugen had a 15-year tenure at Optum, UnitedHealth Group’s diversified health services organization. The final role within the organization he was Head of Product, Provider Markets, where he led a team of 50+ individuals to deliver high value integrated solution sets for large, clinically integrated health provider network clients. Prior to Optum, he was a senior consultant at Accenture, where he focused on supply chain management solutions and large scale client implementations.
Mr. Haugen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems and Communications from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
